My love for Africa, her wildlife and nature started as a young child when we often travel as family all over South Africa. One of the places we often visit was Kruger National Park and it still is one of my favourite places all over. After school, I studied Marketing as well as Travel and Tourism and received my diploma in both these fields, but Travel and Tourism is in my blood, my passion and love. On completion of my studies, I moved to Mpumalanga where I started my career in Travel and Tourism. I had the privilege of travelling all over Southern Africa, from South Africa to Botswana, Namibia, Victoria Falls and to the north and south of Mozambique. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have been able to gain so much experience in the travel industry during the first 15 years of my career. In 2016 I started African Savanna Travel. I love what I do and have never looked back!

Ruby joined the Travel industry after completing her Diploma in Tourism Management at Tshwane University of Technology. She started her career at the biggest National Park in South Africa, Kruger National Park where she did her internship and was later employed as a front desk officer responsible to welcoming the guests assisting with check in / check out, take payments. making accommodation and activity bookings, sales of wildcards at one of the rest camps in the park. She then went to work for a Travel Agency where she arranged accommodation, activities and assisting clients with other travel queries to make their travel experiences smoothly and memorable. She joined African Savanna Travel in October 2019 where she helps with itinerary planning, bookings, and all aspects of arranging perfect holidays for our clients, from start to end. She is a great help and asset to the company
